In this photo there is a 5g tower in the background and an energy substation near my house. In fact I was able to walk there in just under 10min.
Playing this game was a bit stressful at first as I didn't have a great grasp on the rules. I went into the game thinking that since it was an old emulator that it would be basic to understand given how complex certain games are now and that the game wouldn’t have too many controls and commands as it was dated but I was quite wrong. AFter reading a couple guides and breakdowns of the game I was still a bit confused and eventually I watched a couple of walkthroughs on youtube and after seeing the game played I finally got a general idea of how to play. However once I got used to it I was able to enjoy the game as I was able to recognize aspects of the game that are in some modern emulators. Another thing that sparked my interest was the game's protagonist and the situation of living 20 years only to discover that it was a simulation and that you are an A.I. reminds me of a book called “We are Legion (We are Bob” where the main character is killed in a car accident and his consciousness is uploaded into a computer by a theocratic American government decades in the future. While the game has clear and strong political relevance I think that what the real takeaway from the game is the question of what it means to be human, free will, and consciousness.
It seems that wording makes a big difference in responses when I asked about technology first the manifesto mainly focused on technology and knowledge second and vice versa. As a whole there isn’t much that I would change. I don't consider myself to be very literate in this topic so I feel as if my changes would likely be as helpful as an 8th grader would be in a calculus class.
